Social media has countless clips across its vast platforms regarding people causing a scene in public. However, a lot of the time these videos take place inside restaurants. Well, this recently posted TikTok video with around 700 likes and 19.7K views is a little different as a New York retail worker battles it out with an unruly customer. This kind of behavior is wild from a fully grown person, as social media users seemingly can’t get enough of the drama.
Sadly, the TikTok video begins with the original altercation already having taken place. However, the person recording can still be heard saying, “We have refused this lady’s service, and she is still just messing up everything.” As she says this, the customer can be seen going through the clothing items and unfolding just about all of them. Although she doesn’t seem to think she has done anything wrong. The woman recording then pans around the store as tables and tables of items are completely unfolded and just tossed throughout the store. Shockingly, the rude New York woman’s excuse for this mess is, “I was looking for my size.”

The TikTok comment section was not having any of this, though. Many would rush to defend the employee in this situation, as they are not happy. “What a headache,” wrote one. Another pointed out, “I can’t with people like this, when I look for my size, I just look at the tag.” A different commenter also stated, “They walk in those stores and do that on purpose.” Finally, one last person’s comment read, “All you have to do is look at the tags, not pull garments and make a mess. Bless these retail workers, I used to be one, and it takes beyond patience.”
As the TikTok video continues, the New York woman recording tells the customer yet again that they will not be taking her money. However, she either doesn’t understand or is choosing to ignore the woman as she continues to shop. Finally, the customer is ready to check out. That’s not going to happen, though, as the woman recording stands behind the counter.
Sadly, the TikTok video would come to an end after a few short minutes of the two New York women having a standoff. The customer does not get the items that she wanted to purchase, and it would seem as though the woman recording has her in checkmate. At the end of the day, this was some seriously poor behavior from this woman. Hopefully, the woman recording won’t have to deal with something like this again anytime soon.
