It’s that time of year again: graduations are happening around the country, and parents are celebrating their hardworking students as they take the next step in life. However, with that being said, there is a limit on how much celebrating one should do, especially when out in public. Yet, this recently posted TikTok video shows what happens when this Missouri woman disregards the line and crosses it without fear. The clip has around 105K likes and 1.9 million views as viewers get a front-row seat to this mother’s insane graduation celebration.
The TikTok video starts off with the person recording just sitting in the crowd. However, they are panning the camera around to show the viewers the entire graduation ceremony. However, after a man’s name is called to receive his high school diploma, a Missouri woman in a blue shirt can be seen stepping out from the crowd, with no shoes on. Well, it turns out that was her son whose name was just called, and she is about to let everyone know. As the young man walks on stage, the woman can be seen running around screaming at the top of her lungs. At one point, she even runs the length of the gym in excitement.
TikTok Reacts To Missouri Mother’s Graduation Celebration
The TikTok comment section was buzzing following this, though. Many users would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding the celebration. “It’s fine to be excited, but her actions are taking away from the ceremony and bringing all the attention to her,” wrote one. Another pointed out, “I don’t know, she kind of made his moment about her.” One more user said, “If my mom did that, I would be embarrassed.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “This was a bit much, don’t you think?”
As the TikTok video continues, the Missouri woman can be seen screaming and running for a pretty long time. However, once she gets back to the side of the gym she was at originally, she starts to calm down a little. Yet, she is still yelling and shaking her hair back and forth in excitement.
The clip would then come to an end with those around the Missouri mother beginning to fan her with some small programs that the graduation most likely handed out at the door. At the end of the day, this celebration was certainly a bit too dramatic for public. However, there is at least no doubt regarding how proud this woman is of her son.
