Lisa Rinna had a scary evening in California, which took a disturbing turn after what should have been a routine industry celebration left her shaken and searching for answers. The former RHOBH reality star described a night that started like any other Hollywood gathering but quickly became something far more troubling.
What makes the story even more unsettling is how ordinary the event appeared at the start. Rinna had attended a crowded entertainment industry gathering and expected nothing more than a social evening among familiar faces. Instead, she later realized something may have gone terribly wrong, she told Fox5 New York.
Rinna has since said the incident happened after attending a The Traitors season 4 premiere party celebration, when she visited The Abbey nightclub in West Hollywood. Following the outing, she underwent medical testing that she says revealed fentanyl and other substances in her system. Drugs, she insists, she did not knowingly take.
“I had fentanyl in my system. Yes. I’m not kidding. I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines, and other things. But I can’t talk a lot about it because we’re still dealing with it. It was leaked, and my team is dealing with it now.”

She has strongly rejected the idea that the episode was caused by drinking too much alcohol. She maintained that her symptoms felt completely different from anything she had previously experienced.
Rinna has not publicly identified anyone she suspects may have been involved and has said the situation is still being handled privately. Her husband, Harry Hamlin, was reportedly present that night and helped her leave after she began feeling unwell.
She has also claimed that others she knows have had similar experiences at the same venue in California, suggesting that the situation may not be isolated. “So many people that I know have had this happen at the Abbey. All my daughter’s friends. I mean, this is not a first-time thing. This is something that’s gone on for years,” she said. “And I do think it needs to be a conversation. And I’m glad now that it’s out and we will deal with it. I just haven’t had my own time to do that yet.”

Over the years, Rinna has been open about experimenting with drugs earlier in her life. Particularly during her younger years in the entertainment industry. She has spoken candidly in interviews about past partying and risky behavior, which has led some observers to question the situation. While others argue that past experiences do not rule out the possibility that she was drugged.
Rinna’s story has also drawn comparisons to Tara Reid’s widely discussed incident earlier this year. Reid similarly claimed she became suddenly ill during a night out and suspected her drink had been tampered with.
