Sporting events can bring out the best and the worst in some people. However, nothing can get quite as bad as high school-level sports. Parents take it way too seriously, coaches ruin kids’ passion for the games they love, and it can generally be made a poor experience. This recently posted TikTok video of a Tennessee mother is the perfect example of sports bringing out the worst in people. The clip has around 13.1K likes and 447.1K views as this woman gets kicked out of her daughter’s high school basketball game.
Sadly, viewers do not get to see what causes the woman to be thrown out of the event. However, the TikTok video begins right as the woman is being asked to leave. She then aggressively claps her hands as she pops up from her seat. The Tennessee woman would then start making her way to the gym’s exit. At this point, she has the attention of almost everyone in the building, and even some of the players are turned around, staring at her. Finally, the woman notices that she is being filmed. This prompts her to take a bow before exiting the gymnasium. Yet, that’s not all she does, as she also makes very rude hand gestures at the person recording.

The TikTok comment section was very confused regarding this whole ordeal. Yet, despite that, many would flood the video to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes about the situation. “Her exit is hysterical,” wrote one. Another pointed out, “I feel bad for the daughter playing ball. This will affect her for sure.” A different comment read, “Parents are the biggest problem with youth sports.” Finally, one last person’s comment read, “Getting kicked from a division three girls’ high school game is wild work.”
Unfortunately, the TikTok video would come to an end following this Tennessee mother’s incredibly dramatic antics. While it is unknown what caused her to act this way in the first place, it’s never okay to behave like this. Not only did she embarrass herself, but her entire family will also have to suffer the consequences of her actions now.
Hopefully, this Tennessee woman learned a lot from this altercation. Although social media users may never know. At the end of the day, at least nobody got hurt; however, this was just not a good look for this woman in the slightest, and things need to change.
