Wedding bells ringing soon for Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson
Jessica Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson have officially set their wedding date.
The happy couple will be getting married on July 4, 2014, Independence Day.
Jessica Simpson, 33, and Eric Johnson, 34, first announced their engagement back in 2010.
The couple have reconsidered their original wedding plans of marrying on the island of Capri in Italy, but decided to keep their nuptial in the good old USA to make it more convenient for all their family and friends to attend.
Simpson reveals wedding plans
The wedding of Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson will take place in Santa Barbara this Fourth of July, with the bride opting not to don a white gown this time around being it is her second marriage.
Jessica Simpson was formerly married to singer Nick Lachey from 2002-2006.
Simpson is best known for her singing career which started with Simpson’s debut single, “I Wanna Love You Forever”, in 1999. The single entered the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at number 3.
Jessica is curently working as a fll time fashion designer and spokesperson for Weight Watchers
Sources close to Simpson reveals,
“Jessica is having something unique made. It will be very different from the Vera Wang she wore to wed Nick Lachey [in 2002].”
Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson share two children together, two-year-old daughter Maxwell and 11-month-old son Ace.
