Walking Dead Star Jeffrey Dean Morgan Officially Weds Longtime Love Hilarie Burton

It’s official folks Walking Dead star Jeffrey Dean Morgan has officially married longtime love former One Tree Hill star, Hilarie Burton!

The happy couple officially announced that wedded bliss on Monday via Instagram. Hilarie Burton posted that she and Jeffrey Dean Morgan finally tied the knot ” for real.

Burton posted a thoughtful and loving post announcing this past weekend was the ‘best of’ her entire life. She also wanted to extend gratitude and thanks to everyone who helped make their day so special.

This past weekend was the best of my entire life. There are dozens of thank yous I need to make. So bear with me over the next week as I gush over the amazing group of people who gave us this beautiful moment. But before we do any of that, Jeff and I just want to put it out there that WE GOT MARRIED! For real. We’ve lived as husband and wife for a decade. We’ve built a family, and a farm and found our community. For years, publications have reported that we got married in 2014 or 2015 and that I’ve been married and divorced before. All untrue. But WE knew our truth. So it felt silly to try and correct anything. Here’s the God’s honest fact: From the moment I met @jeffreydeanmorgan , he was my husband. Rather than make vows right out of the gate, we lived them. For over ten years. The good times and the bad. Standing up there with our children at our sides – celebrating all that has been – was bliss. I love you Jeffrey. I love our intimate group of friends and family who joined us. I love the various circles of loved ones who have supported us over the years. It was private and magical and everything I dreamed. So yeah. I’m Mrs. Morgan. 10.5.19

Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton began dating back in 2009 and it was love at first sight according to the couple. They have two children, son, Augustus, 9, and daughter George Virginia, 1.

After many years of being assumed as husband and wife the pair officially married on October 5th, 2019. Morgan and Burton made their home in the town of Rhinebeck, New York on a working farm. Along with their popular television and acting careers, the couple became co-owners with actor Paul Rudd of Samels Sweet Shop.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is best known for his roles in popular television hits such as “Supernatural” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” He currently stars as bad guy Negan in the hit AMC thriller “The Walking Dead.” The Walking Dead is currently in its tenth season and it has been announced that it has been officially renewed for the 11th season which will air in the fall of 2020.

Hilarie Burton, now mostly enjoys being a stay at home mom to the couple’s two children is best known for her role as  Peyton Sawyer on the hit teen angst drama “One Tree Hill.”
