Many chefs, no matter what kind of food they enjoy making, take great pride in those meals. Now, with that being said, if their hard work goes to waste, they would rightfully be a little upset. Well, that was the case in this recently posted TikTok video. The clip has around 182K likes and 1.9 million views as this New York man completely ruins a box of pizza by carrying it upside-down. Social media users seemingly can’t get enough of the employee’s reaction as the video has officially reached viral status.
The TikTok starts off with the young man sitting inside the restaurant, waiting for his pizza to be done cooking. The employee can then be seen dropping the boxes off at the front counter, as the young man stands up to grab them. However, as the young New York man grabs the boxes, he turns them completely upside-down in his arms. The whole thing is caught on the restaurant’s Ring security camera as the employee goes over to talk to the younger man. “You turned the pies upside-down,” one worker can be heard telling the customer. The man then states that he thought the pizza was upside down due to there not being a logo on the top of the box.
TikTok Reacts To New York Pizza Mishap
The TikTok comment section was not having any of this, however. Many would flood the clip to leave behind their own thoughts on the matter. “He’s Geeked,” wrote one. “First day on earth,” said one more. Another person wanted to know, “How do people make it as far as they do in life?” One commenter also joked, “He’s stoney baloney.” “This can’t be real,” stated one shocked commenter. Finally, one other person pointed out, “This just made me irrationally angry.“
As the TikTok continues, the young New York man seems to have no clue what is even going on around him. Many of the comments on the video speak about how the man may be under the influence of some kind of substance. Although the true reason may never be known.
As the TikTok video comes to an end, the New York man goes to leave the restaurant. However, the employee is clearly very unhappy with him. At the end of the day, while this was a dumb thing to do, at least nobody got hurt. Hopefully, the man was able to enjoy his pizza even though he tossed it around a little bit beforehand.
