Going door-to-door to sell or talk about something has been happening for so long now that no one knows when it first started. However, not everybody is a huge fan of these solicitors, especially the ones sent by churches. This recently posted TikTok video with around 313.4K likes and 2.5 million views is a perfect example of this. Social media users seemingly can’t get enough of this Indiana man’s creative way to get rid of unwanted guests.

The TikTok video begins with the man recording himself sitting in his car. The vehicle is parked on the side of the street in front of some houses, as two young women can be seen walking up to it. The first woman then states that “We are just from First Baptist Church.” The Indiana man recording can then be heard saying, “Oh, okay, do you guys have like a pamphlet or something?”

TikTok Reacts To Indiana Man’s Jump Scare

The Indiana woman then gets closer to the man in order to give the man a slip of paper with her number and information about the church. However, as she goes to hand it to him, he screams fairly loudly one time. This startles the woman, she says, “Oh,” and turns around to run away. The other women then follow suit as they run off together.

This left the TikTok comment section confused and conflicted as many would flood the video in order to leave behind their own thoughts on the encounter. “This is a great use of free will,” wrote one. One other pointed out, “First Baptist church of Hammond is a plague.” “That was so rude, they didn’t deserve that,” said another. Finally, one last comment also read, “Oh well, don’t push religion on people, and things like this won’t happen.

As the TikTok video continues, the two Indiana women can be seen running as fast as they can away from this man and his vehicle. While it is unknown why the woman’s first instinct was to turn and run, at least it makes for a funny video. At the end of the day, though, this was a pretty harmless prank. Some people may have an issue with this Indiana man scaring these two women. Although they were at his house getting ready to bother him. This seems like it was actually a pretty fair trade-off when it’s all said and done, but hopefully, those girls weren’t too scared.
