The mysterious death of beloved Diff’rent Strokes star Gary Coleman is back in the spotlight, and things just got a whole lot messier. In a tense teaser for Lie Detector: Truth or Deception, Coleman’s ex-wife Shannon Price sat down for a polygraph to clear her name, once and for all.
But the former FBI agent administering the test wasn’t pulling punches. Right off the bat, he asked Shannon Price the hard questions about the day that Gary Coleman died. Price hoped the lie detector would resolve the suspicious event. Her answers were blunt. She wanted to stop being accused of murder. But as the test unfolded, Price’s responses and her reactions didn’t exactly scream innocence, according to Radar Online.

Gary Coleman died on May 28, 2010, after suffering a fatal intracranial hemorrhage caused by a fall in his Santaquin, Utah, home. Though he and Price were divorced at the time, they were still living together when the accident occurred. It was Price who called 911, but her demeanor and cryptic comments to the dispatcher have continued to raise eyebrows ever since.
Coleman was rushed to a hospital in Provo, where he died two days later. His death was officially ruled accidental, and no charges were filed, yet the cloud of suspicion has never fully lifted. Before the lie detector test, Price claimed she was hoping to show the world she was just a “normal girl” caught in an unfortunate situation.
She explained that the odds had always been stacked against her, and this polygraph was her shot at redemption. But while she might have been banking on sympathy, Coleman’s inner circle wasn’t buying it.
Shannon Price Lie Detector Results Raise Eyebrows On Gary Coleman Death
Many of Gary Coleman’s closest friends and confidants doubled down on their belief that there was more to his tragic death than met the eye. They always believed that Price wasn’t telling the full story.
Some even accused Price of being abusive toward Coleman during their time together, painting a disturbing picture of their home life. One person recalled her allegedly calling Coleman a man who battled lifelong health challenges, referring to him as a “short little son of a b—-.” The insinuations are dark and unsettling.
However, once the polygraph started, the tension spiked. Shannon Price, wired up and visibly tense, answered questions about whether she physically caused Coleman’s fall. She denied any involvement, but the results told a different story. The examiner announced she had failed, showing deception on critical questions tied directly to the fall. alse. But the examiner pushed back.
FBI agent Olivo stated bluntly, “There’s two things I know for sure, Shannon. One, you were not completely honest with me yesterday during this polygraph session. And two, the other thing I know that’s 100% certain. There is more to this story that hasn’t been told.”
Despite the test being her chance to silence rumors, Shannon Price left viewers with even more doubts than before. While Gary Coleman’s death remains officially ruled an accident, this latest twist doesn’t make it any less suspicious. One thing’s clear. If Price hoped to shut down the whispers, this polygraph might have just turned up the volume.
“Lie Detector: Truth or Deception” premieres on July 10th at 9 PM ET/PT on A&E.
