Salad is a very healthy and nutritious part of a balanced diet. However, what happens when the food starts moving on its own? Well, that was the case for this Arizona woman as a recently posted TikTok video shows her disgusting discovery. The clip has around 300K likes and 2.9 million views as viewers squirm at the sight of this woman finding an alive and moving spider inside her salad.
The TikTok starts off with the woman showing off the salad she is about to begin eating. At first glance, it looks delicious. The chicken, dressing, and greens look extremely well put together. Unfortunately, that would all go down the drain in about a moment’s time. The Arizona woman in the video then states that she can see something moving in her food. However, the woman’s boyfriend seems to think it’s just the cheese. Yet, after a few minutes of poking around in the salad, the woman seems to believe that there are “Worms” in her food. Although when her boyfriend investigates, he would pull out a piece of lettuce with a living spider on it.
Arizona Woman Grosses Out TikTok Following Nasty Salad Discovery
The woman in the video, as well as the TikTok comment section, would scream as the little arachnid was covered in dressing. Sadly, it seems the little thing won’t make it, although it was still moving around. Many would then flock to the clip to leave behind their thoughts on the matter. “I be eating all kinds of worms and bugs,” pointed out one social media user. “Omg I know I done ate a bug before,” stated another. One comment read, “Girl, I thought you were playing at first.” Finally, one other commenter wrote, “I’m sorry I doubted you.” It would appear that many of the viewers didn’t see the spider at first, either, much like the woman’s boyfriend.
As the TikTok continues, the Arizona woman is very grossed out by the discovery, and rightfully so. Finding any kind of living thing in your food would probably have that kind of effect on most people. Although the spider probably just tried to hitch a ride at the restaurant, or was already on the lettuce to begin with.
At the end of the day, this was definitely an unfortunate turn of events for this Arizona woman, and the spider alike. However, at least they were able to spot the spider before the woman decided to dig into the salad. While she is most likely upset about the waste of food, at least she didn’t get a crunchy spider in there while she was chewing her food.
