Florida Student Suffers Shocking Injuries After Being Slammed to the Ground by Male Teacher During Playful Pep Rally: ‘Sue Them’

School pep rallies are a time for students and teachers alike to show their school spirit. However, this Florida student would leave her school’s pep rally with some pretty intense injuries due to an altercation with a male staff worker. A TikTok posted to the account @Jojo2Fine shows the woman getting tossed to the hard gym floor by the man, all for a game of musical chairs. The clip currently sits at around one million views, with 115.8K likes. 

The TikTok begins with the student and teacher both walking around the gym playing musical chairs. However, when there is only one for two people, the game picks up a little bit. Although the competition got a little too intense when the music finally stopped. The Florida student would reach for the chair at the exact same time as the teacher. While fighting over the chair, the brawl reaches its way to the ground, where a man can be seen being pretty rough. 

Florida Teacher Under Fire After Pep Rally Takedown

The TikTok’s text states that the student had sustained a concussion as well as bruised ribs. It also states that the male teacher is “Not about to get away with this.” After “slamming” the student to the ground, the man runs and sits in the chair to win the game. He then runs off to the side instead of checking on his student. This sent social media users into a frenzy as one TikTok commenter said to “Sue them.” The video’s caption also reads “#GodSavedMeFromGoingToJailToday.” It would be safe to say that this person is absolutely furious about what went down at this pep rally. 

Honestly, the TikToker has every right to be upset. The type of behavior shown by this teacher is unacceptable. Being competitive is one thing, but this was just too far. The person who posted the video has already stated they wish to get this man fired for what he did. As for the Florida student, while her injuries were not life-threatening, they were serious. A concussion is nothing to play around with, and bruised ribs are known to be extremely painful. 

It is currently unknown what happened or is going to happen to the male teacher responsible for the students’ injuries. However, the Florida student seemingly took the worst of it. Whether or not this was an accident or intentional doesn’t matter. A Florida student was injured by a teacher while playing what is supposed to be a fun game. Hopefully, the student is able to make a speedy recovery.
