Having children is no easy task, and being a parent certainly isn’t for everyone. However, with that being said, sometimes no matter what, kids will be kids and go too far. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 15 million views and 1.5 million likes as a Florida mother takes her autistic child to the pool. Yet, things take a turn for the worse when the other children begin making fun of him.
As the TikTok video starts off, viewers can see a group of children playing at the pool. Although the text on the screen reads, “I caught these kids making fun of my autistic son at the pool.” Upon a closer look, users can, in fact, see that the Florida kids are mocking the young autistic boy’s stims. The boy’s mother then turns her phone around to face her as she talks about what has been going on at the pool. She states that the kids were mocking her son, yelling at him for no reason, and just being rude to the young boy.
TikTok Reacts To Florida Mother’s Worst Nightmare
Suddenly, the clip cuts, and the Florida mother is speaking to one of the parents of the rude kids. She can be heard explaining the situation, as well as attempting to figure out which kids belong to which parents. Nevertheless, the woman she is talking to does not sound like she just doesn’t care at all that her child was being incredibly mean. The mother can also be heard telling her many times that her son is autistic.
Unsurprisingly, the TikTok comment section had a lot to say regarding this encounter, as many users would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions. “I’m crying, that is so sad,” claimed one. Another wrote, “Making fun of someone is like throwing a rock into the ocean, you never know how deep it goes.” Someone else then pointed out, “I would’ve unfortunately said something to the kids. To educate them.”
As the TikTok video starts to come to an end, the clip cuts once again to the aftermath of the whole ordeal. The Florida woman can be seen walking through the park as she explains how angry and sad this made her. At the end of the day, kids don’t know any better. That is why it is up to the parents to teach them about these kinds of things. Hopefully, that group of children was educated on the situation and why what they did was wrong.
