A Florida musician known as Prince Midnight has stirred up a storm of controversy and bone-chilling fascination after unveiling his most disturbing creation yet, an electric guitar made from his deceased uncle’s actual skeleton. Dubbed the “Skelecaster,” this instrument is crafted from Uncle Filip’s ribcage, spine, and pelvis, and has left many asking the same question: is this a tribute… or a twisted obsession?

This isn’t some creepy Halloween prop. The Florida Skelecaster is fully functional. It’s wired, soldered, and tuned to play real music. But behind every power chord lies the echo of something deeply unsettling. Filip died in a motorcycle crash at 28. His skeleton, used in medical education for years, was eventually passed on to Prince Midnight, who chose to repurpose Uncle Fil’s remains in the name of metal. While some fans call it genius, others can’t shake the feeling that something is very wrong.

The idea came to Prince Midnight, according Dexerto, as an alternative to traditional burial or expensive bone storage. But the path to creating the Skelecaster was anything but smooth. His own mother condemned the idea, branding it sacrilegious and “a work of the devil.”

That chilling accusation hasn’t stopped him. If anything, it fueled the fire. Midnight went full throttle, welding a metal frame to the vertebrae. He threaded blood-red and electric-blue wires through the remains and constructed a guitar that seems more horror movie prop than instrument.

If you find this creepy, it is just the beginning. He wanted to use his uncle’s skull as the headstock. The only reason he didn’t? It was too damaged. That decision alone sparks questions about how far he might have gone if he’d been able to.

What began as a tribute now teeters on the edge of something darker. Midnight insists he feels his uncle with him when he plays not metaphorically, but literally. He says it’s like hugging his uncle every time he strums a chord. Others wonder if it’s more like the uncle never left at all. Some even question whether this musician is haunted by grief… or something else entirely.

The Skelecaster stands as a haunting testament to devotion twisted into something otherworldly. While Florida’s Prince Midnight insists this guitar is a tribute, many wonder if he’s crossed a line no one should dare to approach.
