Elderly Illinois Man Screams At Couple And Their Adorable Dog During Wildly Uncomfortable Public Moment: ‘This Was Traumatic’

There are countless videos on the internet that show people completely crashing out in public, and most of those clips tend to go viral. Social media users seemingly love a good public altercation, and this recently posted TikTok video only feeds into that love even more. The clip has around 5K likes and 77K views, as this elderly Illinois man has a problem with almost everyone while he attempts to check out at his local Menards. 

Sadly, the TikTok video would begin with the altercation already underway as the elderly man can be seen yelling at a younger couple. As this occurs, the text on the screen gives some context to the situation as it reads, “Gap-toothed grandpa yelling at a couple in Menards because they have service dogs.” Suddenly, the elderly Illinois man can be heard yelling, “Get out of here!” as the situation is getting out of hand, and fast. He can also be heard mocking the young woman as she confronts him for being so rude, for seemingly no reason at all.

However, as the clip goes on, the person recording the video steps in. At this point, the Illinois couple has left the store, leaving behind the angry old man. Yet, the man recording the video would then start roasting the angry man. Yet, he would not take to that too kindly, as he would get right in the face of the man recording and start screaming at him.

The TikTok comment section also had a lot to say regarding this altercation, as many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes. “I know that breath was KICKIN. Thank you for sticking up for that couple, Andrew! I hope that man has the day he deserves,” wrote one. Another asked, “Why are people so angry?” One more person said, “Thank you for standing up to that. I’m sorry you had to experience that.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “This was traumatic.” 

With the video coming to an end, the angry Illinois man is asked to leave by the store employees. However, they do still help him load his car with the items he has purchased. At the end of the day, this man was clearly just looking to start a fight for some unknown reason. However, that is not how anyone should ever behave, and he is old enough to know that. Hopefully, he learned a lot from this encounter, and he will just mind his own business next time.
