Social media is filled with countless strange videos; however, not all of them may be linked to a potential crime. Well, that was seemingly the case in this recently posted TikTok video with around 1.3 million likes and 19.1 million views. The clip shows two Texas women as they allegedly find a human finger while on vacation in another country. Viewers are confused, grossed out, and overall concerned regarding this situation as the clip has certainly reached viral status.
The TikTok video starts off with a bang, as the woman recording states, “Guys, we think we found a finger.” The two women are clearly a little panicked after that statement, although they continue to record as they poke at the mystery item with a stick. Finally, the Texas woman recording would zoom in as social media users see what appears to be a human finger sticking out of a hole in the ground. The women then continue to poke it with a stick. The video’s caption also reads, “This summer in Gloucester, my sister and I were taking a walk around the property when we found this, you can’t tell me that’s not a whole finger.“
TikTok Reacts To Texas Women’s Crazy Discovery
The TikTok comment section was also all over the place after this. Many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts on the matter at hand. “Just destroying evidence and laughing about it,” pointed out one. Another person wrote, “Call the police!” One person also joked, “As someone with two hands, that is a finger.” Finally, one last commenter asked, “Why are you just messing with it? Call the cops.“
While the video does come to an end following the two Texas women poking the alleged finger with a stick, the woman recording would post a Story Time TikTok. This gives a little more context to the situation and even has a crazy reveal at the end. In that video, the woman explains that everyone involved thought it was a finger as well. However, once they unburied the item, it turned out to only be a stick that looked like a human finger.
At the end of the day, some social media users may be a little disappointed about the Texas women’s discovery being a fake. However, at least they didn’t have to look at an actual severed finger. The internet is truly a wild place, and there is really something for everything. This clip is just another example of that very fact.
