Working in the service industry takes a special kind of person with immense patience. Videos on social media constantly depict the career path as a warzone of crazy customers, bad hours, and worse pay, and this recently posted video doesn’t help that case one bit. This clip with around 800K likes and 5.2 million views as this angry Texas man assaults a Wendy’s restaurant and staff. TikTok users are loving this one as the twists just keep on coming.
The TikTok starts off with the Wendy’s employees recording a customer through the drive-thru window. However, the man is only seen speeding away once he realizes the police are on their way. It is unclear what led up to this moment, as the TikTok does not catch that part. However, the man can be seen parking his car and attempting to get into the locked Wendy’s dining room. Although when that doesn’t work, he heads to the drive-thru window. He can proceed to yell at the workers using profane language until he finally snaps. The Texas man then reaches back and punches completely through the drive-thru window, seemingly unharmed.
TikTok couldn’t believe this, as many would flood the video’s comment section out of pure shock. “Definitely on something,” wrote one regarding the angry man. Another pointed out, “This is immaculate camera work, and he was on the phone. We love a multitasking king!!! Seriously though, I’m glad yall safe.” One other states, “I thought that glass was stronger.” Finally, one comment joked, “Crazy eyes over fries.” It would appear as though pretty much everyone is shocked by this man’s decision to punch through the glass.
Following the Texas man’s decision to break the glass, he then stands in the drive-thru for a few more moments. He can be heard talking trash to the employees as he says, “I thought you were so cool,” to one of them who had backed up after the punch was thrown. It would seem pretty obvious that this man is under the influence of some kind of substance due to his erratic behavior and the look in his eyes.
Luckily for the Texas Wendy’s employees, the man would then leave after punching through the window. However, it is unclear if the police were able to pick him up on his way out or not. Hopefully, this man can get the help he needs to move on with his life. As for the Wendy’s workers, they handled this situation as best as they could, and luckily, nobody was seriously hurt.
