Working in the service industry may seem like an easy paycheck, but the countless social media posts depicting the career path would say otherwise. A recently posted Instagram video would only further prove that point, with the video having around 1.5K likes as it continues to trend towards viral status. Social media users are rolling over this Florida woman’s attempt to return a half-eaten pizza, as the restaurant’s manager is in shock due to the encounter.
The Instagram video starts off with the woman recording herself walking into the Florida Papa John’s location. As she slams down a pizza box, the male employee opens it to find a half-eaten pizza. However, the woman is insisting that she get her money back, because her family didn’t like the food. Although the man then states that he shouldn’t have eaten it, then. The woman recording then attempts to tell the employee that the food was “Burnt” and “Dry.” Yet, the employee wasn’t having it as he told her many times that she would not be getting a refund.
Instagram Praises Florida Papa John’s Manager
The Instagram comment section was fully behind this man, as many would flood the video in support. “Can’t believe you posted this,” joked one. “Good job, manager,” said another. Another comment read, “She ate too much of the pizza to ask for a refund.” One person also wrote, “She’s in the wrong. If it was one or two bites, I would understand, but it wasn’t.” “I’m not surprised,” stated one Instagram user. Finally, one last person asked, “Why is she recording this? Is she so sure she’s right?” It would appear that pretty much everyone is fed up with this lady’s behavior at this point. Especially the male employee who actually has to deal with this whole ordeal.
As the Instagram video goes on, the Florida woman and the Papa John’s manager continue to go back and forth about the half-eaten pizza. However, the woman would finally give up as she states that she has to “Call my sister, and see what she says.” However, she would just walk out to her family already in the car, as they yell in a different language.
Sadly, the Instagram video comes to an end following this development. At the end of the day, while this was probably annoying for the Florida Papa John’s manager to deal with, it could have been worse. Nobody was hurt, and they both went on their way following the altercation, and that seems like a win-win for an encounter like this.
