Arizona TikTok influencer Emilie Kiser is grieving after her 3‑year‑old son Trigg Kiser’s accidental drowning. Now, her husband, Brady Kiser, may reportedly face serious felony charges as their lives continue to dark and heartbreaking turn.
On May 12, 2025, 3‑year‑old Trigg Kiser was found unresponsive in his family’s backyard pool in Arizona. He was rushed first to Chandler Regional Medical Center and then to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Sadly, Trigg passed away six days later, leaving his parents in unbearable grief.
The popular TikTok and Instagram influencer has since stepped back from social media as she mourns her son’s tragic loss. Emilie and her husband, Brady, welcomed Trigg in July 2021, followed by a new baby, Theodore, in March 2025.
Emilie, who grew up in Arizona and studied at Utah Valley University, where she met Brady, amassed over 5 million followers with candid insights into motherhood. Before Trigg’s death, she shared joys like her son’s first day of preschool and her postpartum journey. Now, she’s turned inward, taking steps to protect her family’s privacy during this painful time.
Arizona Father’s Momentary Distraction Leads to a Tragedy
At the time of the drowning, Emilie was not at home. Brady was alone with both boys when Trigg fell into the pool. He reportedly lost sight of his son for three to five minutes before finding him floating in the water. Investigators believe this lapse contributed to the tragedy, and this incident sparked a full-scale investigation by the Chandler Police Department.
While Emilie cooperates with Arizona authorities, she took legal action on May 27, filing a petition in Maricopa County Superior Court. The lawsuit aims to seal the investigation records and video footage related to Trigg’s death. Her legal team emphasized that this move protects her family’s dignity during their grief, not to hide facts from the public.

Chandler Police announced that they have completed their investigation and recommended a Class 4 felony child abuse charge against Brady. The police have forwarded the case to the Maricopa County Attorney for review. Prosecutors will now decide whether to proceed with charges or drop the case entirely.
In her lawsuit, which is ongoing, Emilie’s attorneys said that she’s going through “every parent’s worst nightmare,” according to court papers seen by The U.S. Sun.
“Emilie is trying her best to be there for her surviving son, 2-month-old Theodore,” said the suit. “But every day is a battle.”
The tragic passing of Trigg has left Emilie and Brady Kiser facing unimaginable sorrow. While a pain compounded by the looming threat of criminal charges, Emilie seeks compassion and privacy. At this time, the legal system prepares to weigh parental accountability in a moment of human error. The coming weeks will determine whether Brady will be held legally responsible, or if this heartbroken father’s mistake will be deemed an accident too devastating to punish.
