“I can’t think of a better place to put on a big show and give the fans a finale than in Nashville,” he shared with People. This is special not just for him. But for the entire Tennessee country community that helped shape him into the legend he is today.
Alan Jackson is going out in style. And of course, no farewell would be complete without a few famous friends. Jackson won’t be alone when he takes the stage. Some of country’s biggest names on on tap for Jackson’s big goodbye show. So far, the lineup includes Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, and Eric Church. It is a night that’s guaranteed to go down in country music history.
A Bittersweet Tennessee Goodbye
Alan Jackson has long been open about his health struggles. Jackson suffers from Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a nerve condition that has affected his ability to perform for nearly 15 years. In a touching gesture, one dollar from every ticket sold for the Tennessee finale will be donated to the CMT Research Foundation, funding research toward finding a cure.
Jackson has always been honest about how the disease affects his balance and mobility on stage. However, he says it won’t stop him from giving fans one unforgettable night. “We just felt like we had to end it all where it all started for me, and that’s in Nashville, Music City,” he said.
Pre-sale registration opens October 8 at AlanJacksonLastCall.com, with public ticket sales starting October 17, which just so happens to be on Jackson’s birthday. Fans can also grab VIP experiences for an up-close goodbye to one of country music’s most beloved voices.
When the final chord rings out across Nissan Stadium next summer, it won’t just be another concert. It’ll be the closing note to one of Tennessee’s proudest musical legacies. Alan Jackson’s farewell may mark the end of the road. But for fans, his songs will always echo through Music City and beyond.
