‘Worst Landlord I’ve Seen’: Viral California Construction Video Has Social Media Laughing
Sadly, homelessness is still a pretty major issue in most of the big cities in the United States. Places like Los Angeles, California, Portland, Oregon, and many others. Now, with that being said, this recently posted TikTok video shows a California construction worker’s strange run-in with a sleeping homeless man while he attempts to do his job. Social media users seemingly couldn’t get enough of the clip either, as it continues to go viral.
The TikTok video would then start off with the construction worker driving up in some kind of machine. Viewers can also see a bucket that attaches to whatever vehicle the California man is operating. However, once the man gets close to the bucket, it is clear that another person has been sleeping inside of the equipment.
The icing on top of the cake, though, is that the person was still there. The construction worker can then be heard saying, “Hey man, I need you to get out of my bucket.” At this point, it is clear that the driver is trying to be as nice as possible.
TikTok Reacts To Sleepy Homeless California Man
The TikTok comment section was not as kind, though, as many users would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the encounter. “One man’s bucket is another man’s dream house,” said one. Another asked, “What about squatter rights?” Somebody else then wrote, “He is ready to get to work.” A different commenter then joked, “You are the worst landlord I’ve seen, not even giving the poor guy an eviction notice.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Hey USA, are you guys great yet?”
As the TikTok video continues, the California man who was sleeping in the bucket is starting to wake up and get out of the equipment. Yet, he would then pull out a safety vest that he must have found on the jobsite and put it on to cover himself. As he does this, the homeless man also takes his sweet time getting out of the bucket so the construction worker can use it.
Sadly, the TikTok video would then be cut off after the homeless California man would finally step out of the other man’s bucket. At the end of the day, that man obviously needed a place to sleep. Nevertheless, there were probably some better options than sleeping in a bucket like that. Hopefully, this man can get the help he needs, though as nobody should have to live in conditions like these.
