Small business owners are already up against it from the beginning, especially with the cost of living only continuing to rise across the United States. However, despite that fact, these hard-working individuals still wake up every day and get to work. Yet, that’s not without some struggles. This recently posted TikTok video perfectly depicts one of those problems, and it’s one that a lot of workers in the service and retail industry have to deal with all the time. The clip has around 58.7K likes and 586.8K views as this California man crashes out about the prices at a farmer’s market.
Unfortunately, the TikTok video starts off with the altercation already taking place. However, the video’s text fills in the missing space with some much-needed context to the situation. The text reads as follows: “The ‘owner’ of the Tennant Farmer’s Market arguing and yelling in front of customers over $12 worth of strawberries and cream.” The California man can then be seen standing outside of this woman’s booth on the phone with his “Family,” so that he can whine about how the woman has treated him. However, he gets very defensive when the woman presses him about “Crying over $12.” This prompts the man to hold up the watch on his wrist and states, “This is a Rolex, you’re tripping.“
TikTok Roasts Angry California Farmer’s Market Attendee
The TikTok comment section had also seemingly had enough of this guy’s horrible attitude and entitlement issues. Many users would rush to roast the angry man, and rightfully so. “He’s making so many calls, but no one is answering,” laughed one. Another asked, “Was he saying he was going to call his parents?” A different person then wrote, “Imagine walking up to a vendor and expecting the product for free.” Finally, one last comment also read, “I’ve done farmers markets for a decade, vendors pay to be there. They don’t owe anyone anything.“
As the TikTok video continues, the California man only gets angrier and more defensive as he seems to notice how he is acting. Sadly, he is past the point of no return, so he just has to commit to being terrible. Luckily, the woman would comment on her own post explaining that, “The person supervising the market has apologized and informed us that this individual will not be returning.“
At the end of the day, this angry California man caused a massive scene over some fruit that was only $12. Now, he will not be allowed back to this location, and that’s a major win for everyone there, for sure. Acting like this is never okay, especially in public. Hopefully, this young man was able to learn a valuable lesson from this experience and work on himself for the future.
