Going on a walk or a hike through the woods is something a lot of nature lovers do in order to relax and just have a good time connecting with the great outdoors. However, it isn’t always all fun and games; the woods can be a creepy place, and this recently posted TikTok video is a great reminder of that. The clip has around 9K likes and 320K views as these two young Ohio women find a strange VHS tape deep in the forest.
The TikTok video begins with the two women filming themselves as they stumble upon the VHS tape. The text on the screen also reads, “When you and your best friend find a VHS tape in the forest on a casual Tuesday evening.” The woman holding the phone then gives a view of their surroundings as she explains that they had climbed a small rock formation, and the tape was sitting at the very top. The item was also enclosed in a plastic bag as to stop rain and anything else from ruining it. The two Ohio women then pick up the tape and take it home with them to watch it.
TikTok Reacts To Ohio Women’s Creepy Discovery
The TikTok comment section had so much to say regarding this discovery as many would flood the clip in order to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions. “Let me know how it is in 7 days,” joked one. Another asked, “How wild would it be if the tape contained footage of you and your friend finding the tape?” One other viewer would also tell them, “Hey, so don’t watch that.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “This is how horror movies begin.”
Sadly, the TikTok video would come to an end following this, well after the two women would also take a few pictures holding the item. However, the two would then post a Part Two TikTok video of them watching the VHS tape. In that video, the tape can be seen in its entirety, and it is certainly strange.
The VHS tape that the two Ohio women found in the forest was filled with strange images and clips of an eerie man, and at one point, he even brandishes a firearm. The tape also has some strange messages that appear on screen, one of which reads, “Have you seen him?” Finally, the tape would come to an end, and a small flash of Star Trek can be seen pop up before the tape shuts off for good. At the end of the day, this was absolutely a creepy find by these young women, even if the tape itself was a little underwhelming.
