Being a parent is an everyday job that is filled with all kinds of stress. However, with that being said, it is also an extremely rewarding experience for those who take it seriously. Parents are responsible for protecting their children from all sorts of people and things alike. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 700 likes and 26.1K views as this Ohio father has to scare off a creepy man who was harassing his children.
The TikTok video starts off with the security camera footage, as this is how the entire video is filmed. The clip shows a group of young children playing outside, as most kids tend to do. However, a strange man in a bright red shirt can be seen walking up to them and offering the kids something. Yet, before it could go any further, an Ohio man can be seen bursting through the front door to confront the stranger. The video’s caption also reads, “Protect your kids,” and that’s what this father did.
TikTok reacts To Strange Ohio Man’s Creepy Behavior
Later on, there is a separate incident with the children outside. However, this time the same man in the red shirt comes to the door and knocks. The kids back away from the odd man as the guy inside the house has seemingly had enough. The angry man can be heard telling the stranger to “Get off my porch!” Unsurprisingly, he does so as the man in the red shirt doesn’t seem very confrontational. At one point, he even throws his hands in the air and says, “I just wanted to apologize,” regarding the incident earlier in the day. At this point, the kid’s father chases the man down the sidewalk to make sure he leaves. The text on the screen also describes these two encounters as “Strike one” and “Strike two.”
The TikTok comment section also had a lot to say regarding these encounters, as many users would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions. “He thought dad wasn’t paying attention, but dad came out quick,” wrote one. Another pointed out, “Your son had the perfect reaction too, ran straight to the house before you even came out!” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Great job being a good father and protecting those babies.“
The TikTok video would come to an end following this second altercation, but viewers were already up in arms after the first encounter. At the end of the day, who knows what this strange Ohio man’s intentions were? Luckily, these kids seem to have a very attentive parent to watch over and protect them from stuff like that. Hopefully, the guy in the red shirt got the message and won’t come sniffing around there anymore.
