After nearly three decades in the music and entertainment business, LeAnn Rimes reveals there are not many firsts left to be had in her career. However, the singer recently experienced a first like no other during her live show.
LeAnn Rimes prides herself on keeping it real with her fans. So she took to Instagram to share her recent embarrassing dental fail. While performing her hit song One Way Ticket, LeAnn reveals having a true first. And hopefully last for her during her show.
“So last night, I was on stage in the middle of ‘One Way Ticket.’ I feel something pop in my mouth. And if you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front,” she said. “It fell out in the middle of my song last night.”
Rimes adds that her first overall reaction was to panic. However, she somehow managed to keep herself together and told the audience to hold on. She then ran to the side of the stage where she popped her teeth back in place. Then went back to singing, according to Country Now.
“This is the most epic example of how the show must go on,” Rimes laughs.
LeAnn Rimes Proceeds With Caution And Humor
“For the rest of the show. I was literally…pushing my teeth in every couple of lines and singing. Which, by the way, I never knew how many F’s and Th’s and Sh’s I have in my songs!”’
With a What are you going to do attitude, LeAnn Rimes, 42, jokes with fans attending her upcoming shows. “I hope my teeth stay in tonight! We shall see.

“The front row, get ready for something to fly out,” she joked. “If you catch them, please return them. You know, good times, just keeping it real with you, as real as I had to last night. As I said, there wasn’t a fu**ing thing I could do about it. Except either walk off or hold my teeth in and sing. So I just ran with it. In case anybody has an issue on stage ever and feels embarrassed by it, just watch this video again. It’ll remind you that the show can go on even amid sheer utter embarrassment. You just got to be real with people.”
Currently, LeAnn Rimes is on a small break between tour stops. The country icon will likely see to it that she hits up the dentist before her next show on July 12 in Honolulu, Hawaii. But, as we all are well aware, we are all human, and anything can happen. But it is fun to see LeAnn handle the mishap with honesty and a smile on her face.
