When out in public, people should be able to shop with their family without being bothered by anyone else. However, that was not the case for this Ohio mother, as she claims that a man allegedly followed her and her children through a Kroger. This recently posted TikTok video shows the man as the woman attempts to put the word out. The clip has around 2K likes and 52.6K views as it continues to make its rounds online.

The TikTok video starts off with one of the multiple pictures the Ohio woman had taken of the man she states was following her. The guy can be seen wearing sunglasses, a tan hat, and a matching sweatshirt, as well as a sinister look on his face. The text on her screen also reads, “This guy followed my daughters and I around the store today.” She also gives the location of the encounter, which is a Kroger store in Beavercreek, Ohio. She also explains that the man scared her as “He just kept coming closer.”

Attention, if you shop at Beavercreek Kroger: My elementary aged daughters and I went to Kroger after church this morning. This man followed my daughters and I through the store. I first noticed him in the deodorant isle, then when we moved to the toy isle, he did too. He wasn’t picking things up or looking at items on the shelves. I was suspicious and took us to the Easter section. He followed. I stopped, putting myself between him and my kids, turned and he had stopped 2 feet behind me. Just standing awkwardly. I said outloud to my kids, “Stay with me, this man is following us” so the other family in the area would hear and recognize what was happening. This man stayed 10 feet away, not browsing, just watching us. I took a picture of him, it didn’t even phase him, he just kept coming closer, hovering. I booked it to the pharmacy, the nearest section of the store I knew would be staffed. The first staff person I found was management, who walked us to the front. We checked out the 1 item we needed, and as we were leaving the man was coming right at us again, trying to walk out empty handed as we left. Staff stopped him and got us safely out, but there is no doubt in my mind he would have followed us to our car if they hadn’t. And yes, after getting somewhere safe, we did report it to the police. Be aware, stay safe! #beavercreek #creeper #daytonohio

TikTok Freaks Out Over Creepy Ohio Man’s Behavior

The TikTok comment section certainly had a lot to say regarding this situation, though. Many would rush to the video in order to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding the odd encounter. “I am in Beavercreek and went to Kroger there on Dayton-Xenia. Didn’t see him, but then again I am old,” wrote one. “Loss prevention follows people, too,” pointed out another. One more person claimed, “I’m at this Kroger at least twice a week.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “This is crazy. I stop at this Kroger all the time, I’m like 10-15 minutes from there.

As the TikTok video continues, the Ohio mother shows another photo that she took of the creepy man. This one was a close-up of the man’s face as she made sure to get a good, long look. The video’s caption also gives a lot more context to the situation as the woman writes, “Attention, if you shop at Beavercreek Kroger: My elementary-aged daughters and I went to Kroger after church this morning. This man followed my daughters and me through the store. I first noticed him in the deodorant aisle, then when we moved to the toy aisle, he did too. He wasn’t picking things up or looking at items on the shelves.”

The TikTok video would come to an end following the two pictures the Ohio woman had shown. However, the caption also explains that she had employees walk her and her children to their vehicle, and even had one block the man’s exit. She also writes that they contacted law enforcement following their departure. This had to be scary for these women, and hopefully, they won’t have to endure something like this ever again.
