Driving down a Florida highway should be fairly routine, but one woman got far more than she bargained for. As she cruised along, she noticed something. Or, rather, someone was watching her from the outside of her vehicle. It wasn’t a prankster or a rogue drone. It was a smallish snake, seemingly having claimed her car as its personal transport.
Assuming the serpent had emerged from somewhere under the hood, the cold-blooded hitchhiker showed zero fear. It stared her down like it owned the place, while she sat frozen behind the wheel. The squirmish Florida woman took to TikTok for advice and began begging and pleading with her tiny stalker to exit before it made its way inside the car.
After a few tense moments of negotiation with nature’s most unexpected passenger, she decided the safest bet was to get moving again. So she began carefully driving to the nearest Advanced Auto Parts store in hopes of finding some friendly human reinforcements.
Florida Woman Seeks Help For Slithery Situation
Once at the store, employees came out to inspect the situation. The snake was gone—or at least out of immediate sight. One of the helpful men opened the hood, giving the woman a playful scare just to make the moment more memorable, but the serpent remained elusive.
At that point, the video ended, leaving everyone wondering. Did the snake slither away into freedom, or was it still lurking somewhere nearby? Either way, the woman was finally able to breathe a little easier. While this story is more amusing than dangerous, it’s a good reminder for any driver who encounters wildlife up close.
“In my opinion.. You won the Internet today,” one follower states.
“Serious side-eye going on there,” another writes.
“It’s his car now,” one more adds.
Keep your distance, avoid sudden movements, and do not attempt to touch or trap the animal while inside your vehicle. Pull over safely, call for help if necessary, and allow trained or experienced individuals to handle the situation. Staying calm is your best tool against a freaky roadside encounter.

Florida is full of surprises, but few are as literally eye-to-eye as this one. What started as an ordinary drive quickly turned into a slithery showdown, complete with pleading, parking lot negotiations, and a vanished passenger.
Whether the snake truly left for good or just took a scenic detour remains a mystery. But one thing is certain: always check under the hood before you hit the highway.
