Then other diners noticed what was happening underneath the table. As the woman continued eating, her partner’s bare foot slowly appeared from beneath the table.

Instead of simply stretching his leg, the man placed his uncovered foot directly onto the woman’s lap and began rubbing her stomach while she continued eating. That was the moment many people nearby reportedly lost their appetite.

For some, it was not just awkward. It was downright revolting. Most people would agree that there is nothing wrong with couples showing affection. Holding hands across a table. A quick kiss. A loving glance.
