A set of Twins from West Virginia celebrated their 16th birthday by learning a long-kept family secret about their birth. The identical boys named Brody and Max Gray were surprised by their mother on the day of their milestone birthday. However, before telling her sons the information that the family kept closely guarded for so many years, she decided to have a little fun first.

In a TikTok video the earned nearly 700K views within the first 24 hours after it was posted, the West Virginia twin brothers were seen standing on either side of a barrier for a fun telepathy type test. They were asked to do things such as raise one of their arms, stand on one foot, hold up a number, and touch a body part. Of course, they both chose the same options without even knowing it.

She also asked them to point to the twin that was more likey to get arrested, married first, and who they thought was the family favorite. She also asked them both to point to the twin that they thought was oldest. They both chose Brody.

It was fun to watch. However, the real surprise came when their mother decided to finally spill a family secret that she’d been keeping. The mother had her sons close their eyes and then laid out a piece of paper in front of them with their birth order on it.

Upon opening their eyes, Max and Brody were finally told which of them was the older twin, and they were both stunned to learn that it was Max, not Brody, who was born first, just one minute before his brother.

“We have waited 16 years to tell you who’s older. The reason why we’ve done this is because when I was pregnant with you I was reading a lot of twin books. One of those suggestions in that book was to not tell you in order that you would form your own dominance within the relationship,” their mother explained.

Of course, TikTok loved the video and didn’t mind saying so in the comments section.

TikTok Loved The Video

“As a twin, I love the idea of them not knowing. My sister held it over me CONSTANTLY 🙄 she was definitely the more dominant twin,” one person wrote.

“I just knew he was older,” another stated.

“What a cool thing to do with twins! They were spot on with so many things,” a third person wrote.

“This was awesome,” another declared.

It seems like everyone loved seeing the West Virginia twins find out their birth order, and to do so on their 16th birthday made it all the more special.
