Politics will always be a tricky topic of discussion, and nobody will ever agree with one another on everything. However, that doesn’t stop people from having fantastic discussions. Yet, for every good conversation, there seem to be two more bad ones. Although at least some of the less-than-civilized ones can be quite comical. Take this recently posted TikTok video for example. The clip has around 1.2 million likes and 4.9 million views as this Texas woman has her afternoon interrupted by a strange political debate.
The TikTok video starts off with the woman sitting on her front porch enjoying the nice weather. However, soon after the clip begins, two pedestrians can be seen walking together, a man in a green shirt and a woman in a hat. Although the woman can be heard yelling at the man and calling him a liar. She then stops after she sees the Texas woman sitting on her porch, as she turns to her and says, “Hello ma’am, you’re black and beautiful.” As the woman recording says Thank you for the compliment the other woman can also be heard stating that the man in the green is “Weird and white.”
TikTok Reacts To Texas Woman’s Odd Encounter
Unsurprisingly, the TikTok comment section had a lot to say about that, as many users would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the encounter. “Aggressive but progressive,” wrote one. Another said, “The interrogation, compliments and statements are FRYING ME.” One more commenter also pointed out, “She ain’t saying anything wrong!” Finally, one last person also joked, “You now have private security.”
As the TikTok video continues, the Texas woman can be heard asking the person recording if it is wrong to speak their mind in America. She also asks her if she thinks that Donald Trump is racist. The woman recording answers these questions without hesitation as she seems to like this other woman’s vibe.
Sadly, the clip would come to an end following this, though. The Texas woman then asks if the person recording will pray for her. At the end of the day, the woman on the porch was treated to quite the show. Hopefully, the woman in the video got home safe, and maybe they can even become friends. Politics certainly can create a divide amongst a group of people, but it would appear as though they can also bring another group together if the circumstances are right.
