Laundromats, while a little outdated, are still a pretty important service in society, especially in big cities. However, this recently posted TikTok video shows that not even those kinds of businesses are safe from unruly customers. The clip has around 2K likes and 59K views as these two Rhode Island women face off. A law enforcement officer even has to get involved, as many social media users seemingly can’t get enough of the juicy drama.
The TikTok video starts off with the two women already upset with one another. However, it is unknown why they are so angry. Right away, viewers are able to piece together what’s going on as the Laundromat manager clearly just does not want this other woman in her establishment. The manager can also be heard asking the younger woman to leave, but she refused. This then prompts the older woman to start throwing the customer’s clothes out of the machine and onto the ground. The younger Rhode Island woman then states in a sharp tone, “I’m not picking that up.“
TikTok Reacts To These Rhode Island Women’s Laundromat Altercation
The TikTok comment section was very confused by this alteration. Nevertheless, many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions regarding the matter at hand. “I’m pretty sure I have an idea of what happened,” stated one. Another said, “I’m so sick of people being so rotten to each other nowadays.” A different commenter also asked, “Where’s the beginning of the video? What led up to this? Can’t side with either one of them without knowing.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “Okay, so what did she do to make the woman so mad she took her things out of the dryer is what I wanna know.”
As the TikTok video continues, the Rhode Island laundromat manager can be seen on the phone with the police as she states that a customer won’t leave her establishment, and that she is “Out of control.” Finally, after a few more moments of arguing, the video would cut off. However, that is not the end of this story. A Part Two TikTok video was also posted by the same account.
In that video, the two Rhode Island women can be seen talking to a police officer who had arrived on the scene. The officer then tells the younger woman that the manager does have the right to kick her out, and that she will, in fact, have to leave. It would seem as though the situation was handled following this, as the two women go their separate ways in the end.
