Public transport can be a very useful tool for a lot of people. However, with that being said, the keyword there is public, meaning there will be other passengers. While that typically isn’t a problem for most, a recently posted TikTok video would be a little different. The clip has around 500 likes and 8K views as it continues to strive for viral status. Social media users just can’t get enough of this Washington bus drama, as this man argues with the driver regarding his canine friend.
The TikTok video starts off with the person recording sitting towards the back of the bus. However, the vehicle is not moving due to the driver having a full-blown argument with one of the other passengers. The bus driver is allegedly upset that the man has his dog sitting in the seat next to him. Apparently, there is special seating for things like this, but the man points out that someone is already sitting there. On top of that, the Washington man’s dog is behaving very well, and the bus is nowhere near full.
TikTok Is Team Dog Amid Washington Bus Altercation
The TikTok comment section was then forced to pick sides as the video’s caption asks, “Are we team dog or team bus driver?” “Team dog all the way,” wrote one. “He’s a good boy,” stated another. “It’s not like people are standing because of his dog in the seat,” pointed out one other commenter. One person pointed out, “The dog is minding its business looking out the window while its owner fights for its life.” Finally, one other person’s comment reads, “The dog really is more of a liability in the walkway than in the seat, like the man said. Tripping hazard. I’m team dog.” It would appear that Team Dog has won in an overwhelming landslide.
As the TikTok continues, so does the altercation between the Washington pet owner and the bus driver. Things get so heated at one point that the driver asks two younger passengers to get up and move so the man can sit in the “Priority seat.” However, as the young woman stands up, she says something under her breath. This then prompts the bus driver to say, “Everyone has an attitude today.“
As the TikTok video comes to an end, the passengers all switch seats as the Washington bus driver threatens to stay parked all day long. At the end of the day, rules are rules. However, that man and his dog were not hurting anyone. Making the whole bus shuffle around for seats just doesn’t really make sense. At least they got the situation sorted out in the end, though.
