Texas Target Employee Goes To Close Store And Can’t Process How One Customer Acts When Turned Away: ‘Walk Of Shame’

Working in the retail or the service industry sounds like a complete nightmare. There are countless videos online that depict that line of work as a total war zone. From annoying customers, rude coworkers, or even just a bad boss, these employees have to deal with it all.  Just take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 238K likes and 4.3 million views as this Texas Target employee attempts to close the store for the night, but a strange elderly woman has other plans. 

Sadly, the TikTok video starts off with the action already underway. However, with that being said, the woman who is recording does get most of the drama on-camera. Viewers can then see an older woman kneeling on both knees in front of the store’s front doors. The Texas Target employee can then be heard saying, “I cannot, I cannot! You have got to go, ma’am! You can come back tomorrow.” Although all the old woman does is shake her head once hearing this. 

TikTok Roasts Strange Elderly Texas Woman Amid Target Altercation

The Target employee continues to tell the old woman that she will not be allowed in the store tonight, as it is time for them to close up and lock the doors. The employee then leans over to her co-worker and whispers, “Are you seeing this?” Yet, the elderly woman just is not going to take no for an answer, as she can then be heard telling the employee, “I will do whatever you ask.” Finally, the old lady would stand up as she asked why she was not allowed in the store. However, the employee just states that “It’s the rules.” 

The TikTok comment section also had a lot to say regarding this off encounter, as many would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes. “What is she doing?” asked one confused viewer. Another laughed as they pointed out, “Wait, the walk of shame back to the car.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “At first I thought she was throwing her head in the door to get into the store.” 

As the TikTok video continues, the elderly Texas woman seems to give up hope that she will be allowed in the store as she turns around and begins to walk away. Once she is gone, the two Target employees begin to laugh uncontrollably, and who could blame them, really? At the end of the day, this was such a strange encounter, but at least nobody was hurt.
