At first, everything about the Michigan outing seemed pretty wholesome. The woman was excited, browsing through racks, showing off her finds, and just enjoying the typical thrift store experience. You know the vibe, a little treasure hunting, a little chaos, and maybe a great deal if you’re lucky.
But while she was filming, things took a turn. Out of nowhere, a man approached her and made a comment about her body telling her she was “way too skinny.” And just like that, the mood completely changed.

She explained to him why comments like that aren’t okay, pointing out that people have complicated relationships with their bodies, and hearing remarks like that can be harmful. To his credit, the man apologized and tried to explain himself, saying, “You’re just so thin.”
Her response was straight to the point. “I am thin,” she told him. “But I don’t tell you you’re fat.” As expected, once the video started circulating, people had a lot to say, and the reactions were pretty telling.
