Working in the service industry, especially a fast food job, is certainly not as easy as it may appear. There are countless clips online depicting that line of work as an absolute nightmare. Unfortunately, this recently posted TikTok video by the account @destinyygskii is just another one of these clips. However, this one does have a little bit of a twist as this group of Tennessee fast food employees finds a way to work around an angry Karen’s drive-thru temper tantrum.
Sadly, the TikTok video does not give a ton of context as to why the woman in the drive-thru lice was so upset, or what she was doing. However, the text on the screen reads, “A lady didn’t want to move because she couldn’t get a refund through the window.” It would appear as though the Tennessee woman is holding up the line as she refuses to move without getting her money back. Although it is clear that if she wants that to happen, she may have to actually go inside the restaurant. Despite that battle, the employees still have a job to do, and they are determined to get this food out to the rest of the drive-thru customers.
TikTok Reacts To Tennessee Fast Food Altercation
A group of employees can then be seen wheeling a cart completely loaded down with drive-thru orders out into the parking lot in order to serve the rest of the customers while the manager handles the angry woman holding up the line. The group can be heard laughing as they perform his task, and they also point out the angry woman recording them.
The TikTok comment section found this very comical, though. Many would flood the video in order to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the situation. “As the petty manager, I approve,” wrote one. Another said, “To be fair, it makes no sense to expect a refund through the drive-thru. Go inside.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “I’m dead, she was probably even more mad when y’all came out laughing!“
As the TikTok video comes to an end, the group of Tennessee fast food employees is off to hand out the orders and get back inside before things escalate too far. Hopefully, the angry woman holding up the line was dealt with swiftly, and things were able to get back into action without too much trouble. As for the employees, this was some quick thinking, for sure.
