Jon Bon Jovi the frontman and lead singer of the popular rock band Bon Jovi appears to have passed down his famous good looks to his three sons, Jesse, Jake, and Romeo Bongiovi.
Married to his high school sweetheart Dorthea Hurley for three decades the famous rocker has admitted that the best decision he has ever made has been to spend his life with Dorthea.
The happy couple was married on April 29, 1989, at the Graceland Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas Valley, NV. Jon happily speaks of the couple’s love story stating, that at age 27-year-old they just decided to fly to Las Vegas, during a one-day break on the New Jersey tour and secretly marry Hurley.
At the top of his game, everything was going Jon’s way and he felt the only thing missing at the time was Dorthea. “We did it for us and didn’t give a damn,” Bon Jovi told VH1. “I got a lot of heat from it, between the band, my parents, Doc [McGhee, Bon Jovi’s manager]. Everybody was pissed off. It took me a couple of days before I realized that I don’t give a shit what anybody thinks.”
When first hearing of Jon Bon Jovi‘s marriage female fans across the globe reacted with mixed emotions of jealously, heartbreak and happiness for
their favorite rocker.

So how have they managed to make it work in the celebrity world? “Somehow it works,” Dorothea said. “I think because we grow at the same rate. We grew equally and not in opposite directions.”
Jon attributes his successful marriage to the woman he married.
“She’s the glue,” he said of Dorothea. “I’m the crazy visionary with all kinds of things flying, and the seams are all splitting. She’s the one following me with the glue and the thread and needle, keeping it all together.”
Not only have the happy couple been blessed for three decades plus with true love and happiness, they also share four children together. Oldest and
only daughter Stephanie Rose, 25, and three sons Jesse, 23, Jake, 16, and youngest Romeo, 14.
Bon Jovi fans stay up to date on all of the singer’s comings and goings both professionally and personally including following his family members on the social media.Recently Jon and eldest son Jesse combined forces to develop their own brand of wine Hampton Water which has grown in popularity and has been flying off the shelves across the country.
However, despite Jesse’s success in the wine business, it is, however, Jon’s middle son Jake that appears to have the biggest following on the social media by fans young and old. The 16-year-old just so happens to be the Bon Jovi boy who appears to be the spitting image of their famous father. From his boyish good looks, stylish hair and a carbon copy of his dad’s famous smile Jake has fans wondering if Jon’s mini-me also inherited his dad’s talent.
It is too soon to tell just yet, but one thing is for certain Jake exhibits the same playful fun loving personality characteristics of his dad and shares his zest for life daily via Instagram making him fun for fans to follow.
Not to take away from the other members of the Jon Bon Jovi clan, daughter Stephanie and youngest son Romeo tends to favor mom Dorthea more while Jake and Jesse favor dad. The family is beautiful and one thing that can not be denied is the love and commitment they all share as well as the great genes. Jon and Dorothea are well-aware that they have an exceptional marriage, and family.
Which is the one thing that they take the utmost pride in. One thing is for sure Jon Bon Jovi and Dorthea Hurley sure have a lot to be thankful for and they admit that it is something that they never want to take for granted.
