Ireland Baldwin the 19-year-old daughter of actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Bassinger has checked into SOBA Recovery Center in Malibu, California seeking treatment for “emotional recovery.”

Soon after checking into the treatment facility, Ireland Baldwin tweeted from rehab posting,”I’m not much a party cat but I am here deal with some emotional trauma and getting the intensive therapy I needed in order to recover.” Baldwin also reveals in a series of tweets that she “needed a breather” and needed time to work on herself. However conflicting celebrity news site reports have stated that Ireland “unwilling” checked into the facility after family members sought out help for Ireland’s substance abuse issues.

At this time Ireland Baldwin continues to deny suffering from any alcohol or drug abuse issues, her father actor Alec Baldwin has not responded publicly as of yet, it is alleged at this time he and the family wish to keep this a private family matter in attempt to protect Ireland. Ireland is not the only member of the Baldwin family to struggle with the addiction gene, her uncle Daniel Baldwin has been in rehab multiple times and even appeared on “Celebrity Rehab” with Dr. Drew.
We here at HND wish Ireland Baldwin a full and speedy recovery in hopes that she will conquer whatever demons she may be battling at this point in her young life. This is the second hospitalization in just one week. Last week Ireland Baldwin was admitted into the hospital suffering from severe stomach pains where she was rushed into emergency surgery to remove her appendix.
