In Florida, one woman is sounding the alarm about a popular board game that has long been surrounded by fear, controversy, and stories of the unexplained. While many people view it as harmless entertainment. She believes recent incidents suggest there may be something far more troubling lurking behind its reputation.

For years, tales involving strange encounters, unexplained activity, and frightening experiences have followed Ouija boards wherever they appear. Most people dismiss those stories as urban legends or superstition. However, this Florida resident says a pair of unsettling cases should have people paying much closer attention.

The woman recently shared her concerns online, pointing to two separate incidents involving groups of young girls who reportedly became seriously ill after participating in Ouija board sessions. According to her account, the first case involved 28 girls who allegedly began suffering alarming symptoms shortly after using the board.

Florida Woman Warns These Boards Are More Dangerous Than People Realize

Reports claimed several experienced severe vomiting, fainting episodes, and in some instances even seizure-like activity. The situation became serious enough that many required medical attention. For the Florida woman, that incident alone was enough to raise questions.

Then came another case involving eight girls at a sleepover. In the second incident, eight girls reportedly gathered for a slumber party where a Ouija board was brought out as entertainment. What happened next left many people unsettled. According to the story being shared online, the girls soon began feeling unwell and eventually returned home after developing symptoms.

Illnesses very similar to those reported in the earlier case. Several allegedly required hospitalization as a result. The woman insists the similarities between the two incidents are impossible to ignore. In her view, these events serve as evidence that Ouija boards should not be treated like harmless toys or party games.

Many People Fear Ouija Boards

Whether someone believes in the paranormal or not, Ouija boards have carried a dark reputation for generations. Stories involving unexplained voices, shadow figures, strange occurrences, and alleged demonic encounters have fueled public fascination for decades. Many believers argue that the boards act as a doorway to unknown forces.

Skeptics, meanwhile, often point to psychological factors. These also include group suggestion and mass hysteria as possible explanations for unusual experiences. Still, stories like these continue to spark debate. The Florida woman believes the answer is yes. She argues that too many frightening stories have surfaced over the years for people to laugh them off so simply.

“Leave it alone, do not touch or play this game,” urges one follower.

“It’s so dangerous. The board is demonic. Don’t mess with it,” another adds.

These Warnings Should Be Taken Seriously

She also questions whether products marketed as games should carry stronger warnings. Especially given the fears and concerns many families have about their use. Regardless of where someone stands on the paranormal debate, the stories continue to attract attention because they touch on a very real fear.

The possibility of inviting something unknown into your life. For this Florida woman, the message is simple: proceed at your own risk. Whether the reported illnesses were caused by fear, coincidence, psychological reactions, or something far more mysterious remains a matter of debate. What is clear is that Ouija boards continue to inspire both fascination and fear. And according to those who believe the warnings, some doors are better left unopened.
