While at the movie theater, it’s just common courtesy to remain silent and have your cell phones off. However, that was not the case in this recently posted TikTok video. The clip has around 7K likes and 45K views as this racist movie theater Karen threatens to call ICE on a random Oregon woman. The altercation is shown in the video as social media users seemingly just can’t get enough of the movie theater drama.
The TikTok starts off with the woman recording, turning her phone’s flash on inside the movie theater. She then points it directly at the woman sitting behind her as she is shoveling popcorn into her mouth. The woman recording then tells her to “Say it again.” Although at this point it is unknown what she said off-camera. The Karen then finally sits up and tells the women, “I’m gonna call the police if you don’t stop harassing me.” The Oregon woman recording then goes on to state that this Karen allegedly threatened to call ICE on her./ The woman being recorded then attempts to say that she said “I need ICE,” as in her drink.

The TikTok comment section was not having any of this, though, as many would flood the video to leave behind their own thoughts on the matter. “Disgusting people,” wrote one. “Her friend was embarrassed,” pointed out another. One person also said, “This is exactly how people need to be confronted.” Another comment read, “She was scared!” Finally, one other commenter asked, “Why is she so shy now?” It would seem as though most are not about whatever this movie theater Karen was on, as they rush to defend the woman recording.
As the TikTok video continues, the Oregon woman being recorded then stands up to allegedly go call the police, as stated in the clip. The woman then stands up and walks right out of the movie theater to dial 911. Unfortunately, the TikTok video would then come to an end. Hopefully, Karen didn’t cause any more problems after this, and the other woman could enjoy her movie.
As for the Oregon movie theater, Karen herself, it may be time for some serious self-reflection. Acting like this, especially in public, is just wild. At least she got called out for her action, as she probably won’t try to do something like that again anytime soon, if ever again.
