But one California woman is going viral after admitting that her very first date with the man who is now her boyfriend turned into absolute chaos after she accidentally peed on his couch from laughing too hard.
Somehow the disaster actually made their relationship stronger. TikTok creator Saskia, who lives in Los Angeles and posts under the username @saskiakaterinaherd, recently shared the story while casually doing her makeup on camera. What started as a funny dating confession quickly exploded online because the story sounds less like a normal first date and more like a deleted scene from a chaotic romantic comedy.
According to Saskia, she and her now-boyfriend Christian had been texting for a while before finally meeting in person. At first, she apparently wasn’t even sure she wanted to pursue anything serious with him and admitted she had considered ghosting him completely. But Christian kept insisting she give him a chance.
California Woman Shares Horrifying First Date Story
Apparently, his persistence worked. Since Saskia wanted to keep the first meetup public, she decided their date would happen at her horse barn, where the two spent time horseback riding together. Honestly, that already sounds intimidating enough for a first date. But things got even more unhinged from there.
At one point during the outing, Saskia accidentally whipped Christian with a leather riding whip. According to her, she hit him so hard she genuinely thought he might cry. But instead of freaking out or storming off, Christian apparently tried to brush it off and insisted he was fine.
And somehow the date kept going. Afterward, the two ended up back at Christian’s house where the night took yet another unexpected turn. While hanging out together, Christian told a joke so funny that Saskia completely lost control.
“I laughed so hard…I p—ed myself on his couch,” she admitted in the viral TikTok. And she made it very clear this wasn’t some tiny accident either. “I peed, I peed on his couch. And not just a dribble,” she added.
At that point, most people would probably assume the relationship was over before it even started. But according to Saskia, Christian handled the situation in the sweetest way possible. Instead of embarrassing her or making things awkward, he reportedly reassured her that accidents happen and tried to make her feel comfortable. He even gave her clean pants to change into.

Which honestly may have been the biggest green flag in dating history. When she came back out, the two simply cuddled on the couch and watched a movie together like nothing catastrophic had happened minutes earlier.
Social media users were absolutely obsessed with the story because it felt so painfully human compared to the polished “perfect date” content people usually post online. Instead of pretending everything was flawless, Saskia basically told the internet: “Yeah, I accidentally assaulted him with a whip and peed on his furniture, and now we’re in love.”
