People around the world go out and get drunk every night. However, for the most part, they head to bars and other establishments. How often does a group of people head to a police station to do their drinking? Well, this recently posted TikTok video shows that very thing. The clip has around 873K likes and 5.8 million views as a group of Alabama natives participates in their local Wet Lab, as they get very drunk for the sake of the police academy.
The TikTok video would start off with the group of friends arriving at the police station to take part in what is called a Wet Lab. Basically, the police provide alcohol, a safe environment, and pretty much whatever else a person could need. In return, the volunteers are encouraged to get drunk enough that police trainees can practice traffic stops on them. Yet, what leads up to those inevitable tests is pretty much just one big party. The video then cuts to the group of Alabama natives as they all have drinks in their hands. They can be seen dancing, people are singing karaoke, and just generally having a good time.

The TikTok comment section had a lot to say regarding this experience as well, as many users would then rush to leave behind their own thoughts and opinions. “Why can’t opportunities like this find me?” asked one. Another pointed out, “And they got the music bumping.” Someone else then joked, “I’d end up in jail.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “I love that they had activities for y’all.“
As the TikTok video continues, the group of Alabama natives get drunker by the minute. However, it is then time to perform the field sobriety tests. This goes just about as well as anyone could imagine it would. One of the men in the clip can also be seen walking in a straight line attempting to put one foot directly in front of the other.
The video would then come to an end after the Alabama law enforcement officers announced the results of the field sobriety tests. For the most part, a lot of people failed miserably. That also includes the group who filmed the TikTok. However, there were a few who actually passed the tests. At the end of the day, this seems like a fun, safe, and useful way to consume alcohol. Maybe it needs to be more common.
