The footage reportedly shows a woman pulling up to the drive-thru window before pepper-spraying 18-year-old employee Vaida Fedikovich. After the attack, the customer simply drove away. Fedikovich later described how the incident continued to affect her even after the moment had passed. “My heart is still pounding being here at this location,” she said when reflecting on the experience. The ordeal was so unsettling that she made the decision to leave the job shortly afterward. “I left on my own terms due to the circumstance that I did not feel safe.”

Fedikovich also pointed out that drive-thru lines often involve more moving parts than customers realize. Employees aren’t just focused on one person’s order at a time.
“There’s multiple people there, and it’s not just you in line; we have other things to do and it’s just all about waiting your turn and trying to work with us,” she said. In other words: patience goes a long way.
