Road rage is a serious issue in the United States; many people can’t even get on social media without seeing a video of a road rage incident. However, they don’t always have to happen on the actual road. Take this recently posted TikTok video, for example. The clip has around 8K likes and 174K views shows a parking garage altercation between two California women as one uses her young child to block traffic for her.
The TikTok starts off with the person recording already outside of their vehicle. However, the other California woman would stay inside of her car the entire time. The text on the screen then reads, “All we did was pull out of our parking spot.” It also states, “Mothers who embarrass their kids like this, at least get out yourself.” The woman in the car then begins to yell at the person recording for allegedly trying to cut in front of them while leaving the parking garage. However, the woman recording only seems to care about the safety of the young child who is standing in the middle of a busy parking garage, blocking traffic for his mother.

The TikTok comment section was also up in arms following this display of behavior from the woman in the vehicle. Many would then rush to leave behind their own thoughts regarding the matter at hand. “That little boy looked so scared,” wrote one. “She drives a Tesla, owned by Elon Musk; it speaks for itself,” said another. One other person pointed out, “That child was terrified.” Finally, one last comment read, “Like, what’s the rush?! I don’t get people with no patience. We’re all gonna end up in the same place at the end.“
As the TikTok video continues, the two Arizona women go on and on about who was trying to cut or not cut in line. While this is happening, the young child and what appears to be his grandmother get back in the woman’s car as she pulls ahead to leave. However, she can still be heard yelling, and so can the woman recording as she calls her a “Clown.“
At the end of the day, this was a pointless altercation, and a very dumb move by this Arizona mother. Putting your child in danger so you don’t have to wait in a parking garage line doesn’t really scream mom of the year. A little bit of patience can go a long way, and it seems more people need to realize that.
