When going out to eat, the expectation is that the kitchen is clean and the food is edible. However, what happens when neither of those two things is true? Well, that was the case for this upset Tennessee man, as he would even post a TikTok video about it. The clip has around 60K likes and 4.3 million views as this man catches a line cook doing vape tricks in the kitchen, with TikTok taking sides.
The short six-second TikTok video starts off with the man zooming in on a restaurant staff member sitting in the back of the kitchen. However, viewers can clearly see smoke coming out of the man’s mouth as he even stops to blow smoke rings. This is obviously not a good look. Smoking on the job is already bad enough, but vaping in a restaurant’s kitchen with food around is on another level. The man who posted the video seems to agree, as the caption reads, “I wonder if this is the reason my pregnant wife’s wings were inedible? Vaping in a kitchen is illegal due to saliva and germs being spread.” It’s clear this Tennessee man and his wife had a bad time at this Buffalo Wild Wings
TikTok Reacts To Tennessee Restaurant Antics
The TikTok comment section was a little more mixed on their emotions, though. Many would flood the video to leave behind their own thoughts on the matter, as they choose sides. “That’s horrible,” wrote one. “As a former bar and restaurant cook, this is the least you should be worried about,” stated another. “You are eating at Buffalo Wild Wings and are concerned about what’s healthy,” joked one more.
Finally, one other person commented, “Boy, do I have news for you about almost every restaurant ever.” It would seem as though the comments are not really on this guy’s side and are sympathizing with the employee.
At the end of the day, this Tennessee man was probably overreacting a little bit when it came to the vaping. However, his pregnant wife’s chicken being undercooked is a huge problem. Hopefully, the couple got that sorted out quickly and without too much confrontation. As for the employee, if you want to vape, that’s completely fine, but maybe next time not in plain view of all the paying customers. Sadly, the TikTok video would come to an end following this, as the clip just wasn’t very long.
