Lisa Marie Presley’s drug addiction issues over the years are reportedly scarier and more dangerous than anyone really knew. According to Radar Online reports Lisa Marie was rushed to the emergency room for ‘hidden problems related to substance abuse.’
Lisa Marie Presley, the only daughter of the late Elvis Presley has been facing many stressful issues over the recent years concerning her drug addiction, multiple dramas surrounding her fourth divorce and custody battle from Michael Lockwood leaving many fans with growing concern for Lisa Marie.
Today, February 1, Lisa turns 51, nine years older than the age of her famous father, Elvis Presley was when he died on August 16, 1977. Since her father’s death, life has been a crazy whirlwind of drama and tough times for Lisa Marie. In 2016, according to Radar Lisa was secretly hospitalized after a very serious drug binge. Following her move from Tennessee to California Lisa was rushed to the local ER according to court documents obtained by Radar.
As previously reported, in 2017 Lisa Marie revealed in court that she was “abusing cocaine terribly” in 2015 as well as being a heavy user of opioids painkillers, and alcohol. She also admitted she had been such a mess she couldn’t even remember how many times she had been to rehab, saying it was three, four or five times.

The drug confessions were made during interviews conducted during Lisa’s divorce and custody battle investigations from Michael Lockwood.
During the interview, Lisa denied using drugs in front of the former couple’s young twin daughters Harper and Finley, however, she admitted that her addiction was very serious and began around 2012. Court docs reveal Lisa Marie said that from October 2015 until June 2016 she was “using a significant amount of drugs and staying in bed a lot.”
Presley also confessed “she started using cocaine to counteract the effect of the pills,” and as a result, she admitted she would “go for days without sleeping.”
It was reportedly following the 2016 secret hospitalization that Lisa decided to check herself back into rehab. It was during her most recent rehab stay, Lisa’s mom, Priscilla Presley took temporary custody of the twins for several weeks.
It is alleged that a source, who became close with Lisa during her rehab stint claims Elvis Presley’s daughter stated that her prescription pill addiction was brought on by her failed marriage.
Presley now claims that she is currently sober for the past two years, however, sources close to the singer fear that Lisa’s current financial issues, constant battles with Lockwood and sadly, a family history of drug addiction will always leave Lisa Marie Presley bordering on relapse for the of her life.
