Pennsylvania Newcomer LeBron James Makes Bold Claims Regarding ‘Electric’ Documentary: ‘We Just Need That’
LeBron James is beginning another new chapter in his long and decorated NBA career. However, it’s not back home in Cleveland or in the bright lights of Los Angeles. It is in a city that not a lot of basketball fans ever thought they would see The King suit up for: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With the announcement of this new chapter also came the news that a documentary team had allegedly been following LBJ around for the past ten seasons.
Now, with that being said, LeBron James recently had a small update regarding the documentary that will most likely be released after he retires. Yet, the hype is still as real as ever, as the newly signed Philadelphia 76er stated in a recent interview, “I got a pretty good documentary in the works too. It is gonna be electric when I’m done with it.” With the decision to take his talents to Pennsylvania, LeBron joins Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Maxey, and Joel Embiid in hopes of chasing his elusive fifth NBA championship ring. Yet, the competition is still steep.
LeBron James Gives Documentary Update Amid Championship Aspirations
The New York Knicks are the current defending NBA champs, as they defeated the San Antonio Spurs in a quick five-game matchup. Yet, championships may not be the only thing on the mind of LeBron James during his time with the 76ers. With the documentary looming large over what are most likely the final few seasons of LBJ’s career. It may be a big distraction, and some fans aren’t too thrilled about that.
“That’s why the Knicks declined his calls; we don’t need that diva stuff up here,” wrote one via X. Yet some were still excited about the doc, as another wrote, “We will be showing our kids the Bron documentary.” Somebody else also asked, “Are you sure? Space Jam was a flop.” Finally, one last person’s comment read, “We just need that documentary right now.” It would appear as though NBA fans are pretty divided when it comes to the potential LeBron doc.
Nevertheless, it seems that LeBron James will be making this documentary despite anything that may happen. James has seemingly always valued his legacy above all, and this footage will only help to secure his basketball greatness. At the end of the day, it may be a distraction off the court, but in the grand scheme, it seems as though it will be a valuable part of NBA history.
