A fight breaking out is one thing, but what went down recently was more like a full-on mob attack. A group of three boys and two girls from North Carolina ganged up on one man and, shockingly, they filmed the entire thing like it was entertainment.
From the start, the scene looked bad. In a video posted to Reddit, one of the boys had the man in a headlock while another repeatedly punched him in the back. A third boy didn’t hesitate to throw his own hits, making the attack feel relentless. Even the girls got involved, tossing in a couple of kicks and punches before stepping aside, as if casually taking part in a group project gone horribly wrong. And while all this was happening? The person behind the camera was laughing, almost cheering it on.
What’s worse is how personal and disturbing it got. At one point, racial slurs were hurled at the victim. “F— you [N-word],” one of the attackers shouted while continuing to punch him. And if you thought it couldn’t get more disgusting, the video ended with one of the boys kicking the man in the head after the group finally let up. It’s unclear if the attack continued once the recording stopped, but by then, the damage was already done.
North Carolina Group Laughs While Savagely Beating Man On Street
According to someone familiar with the situation, the group admitted they were attacking the man “just for fun.” Not revenge, not self-defense, not even an argument gone too far just pure cruelty for the sake of it. When police showed up the group lied, claiming the man had been trying to steal from them. That kind of excuse is almost laughable, especially with video evidence painting a very different story.
Naturally, the North Carolina community is outraged. Watching five people beat down on one guy, hearing the laughter in the background, and realizing it was all some kind of twisted game has left many people speechless. Honestly, these teens should be facing real consequences not just from the law, but from their colleges and communities. Imagine sitting in class next to someone who thinks this kind of behavior is acceptable.
The Internet Can’t Believe It
“That demonic smile on her face…smh,” one person commented. “That is what I thought as well. Even if the homeless person was an instigator in some way, it is certainly an unfair fight to say the least,” another wrote. “This is horrible. No real context of what happened before this, but the girl smiling and laughing after kicking him would lead me to believe there was no justification for this and just purely just an attack on someone for’ ‘fun.’ Absolutely disgusting,” a third person declared. “The laughing and smiling at the camera was disturbing,” a fourth comment read.
North Carolina has seen its fair share of drama, but this attack is on another level. It wasn’t just a fight; it was a mob mentality on full display ugly, hateful, and dangerous. And while the internet may be buzzing about it today, the bigger question is whether these attackers will actually be held accountable tomorrow.
