The internet and social media have been able to produce a lot of new lines of work thanks to the popularity of some types of content. Take this recently posted TikTok video for example. The clip has around two million likes and 15 million views as this South Carolina food critic gets into a heated altercation with a restaurant owner and his employees. Viewers seemingly can’t get enough of the drama as the video continues to do well online.
The TikTok video would begin with the man who reviews different restaurants and their food standing in front of his latest foe, Percy & Willie’s in Florence, SC. As the man steps into the establishment, everything seems pretty normal so far. The South Carolina man gets seated and even orders his food. While he waits for his dish, he gets up and starts talking to other customers and employees alike. He even checks out how clean the men’s restroom is. However, everything would go downhill once he runs into the restaurant’s manager.
TikTok Roasts Angry South Carolina Restaurant Manger
Viewers can see a bald man walk up to the food critic as he asks him to come to the front door with him. The food critic would then ask why he has to go with the other man, and he responds, “I’m asking you to leave the business.” The manager also explains that they do not allow people to record inside the restaurant. The manager also goes as far as to tell one of his employees to “Call the police.” Yet, the online personality seems to refuse to leave as he tells the manager, “You can ask me better than that.”
To nobody’s surprise, the TikTok comment section had a lot of things to say regarding this altercation. Many users would then flock to the clip in order to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes. “The crazy thing is, he coulda helped get y’all more business,” pointed out one. Another said, “That lawsuit is gonna be great!” A different person also wrote, “They hated the fact that everyone loved this young man.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “That’s not okay.”
As the TikTok video continues, things take a turn for the worse in this South Carolina restaurant. One of the employees is on the phone with the police as the altercation goes on. However, the restaurant manager begins to put his hands on the young food critic. This obviously angers the young man as he tells the manager, “Don’t touch me, shawty.” The man on the phone also lies to the police, as he states, “He already assaulted me.”
Sadly, the clip would begin to come to an end following this, as the group of South Carolina men walks out of the restaurant. However, the group of men would also continue yelling and pushing one another. Finally, the man gets out into the parking lot to leave, but the manager still follows him and even blocks his exit for a short time as the video cuts off. At the end of the day, this was blown way out of proportion by the restaurant staff. Hopefully, this young man doesn’t have to deal with these guys ever again.
