Halloween in Pennsylvania has taken a terrifying turn for one woman who just wanted to add a little spooky fun to her seasonal décor. However, she instead ended up questioning whether her new decoration is actually haunted. What started as a cute, eerie addition to her Halloween setup quickly became something straight out of a horror movie, and it’s giving people all over the internet major goosebumps.
According to the woman, she bought the doll, a little girl sitting on a swing, from Amazon, thinking it would make the perfect eerie centerpiece for her yard display. She hung it outside her Pennsylvania home, expecting it to be creepy in that fun, festive kind of way. But soon after, she noticed something seriously unsettling. Every time she stepped outside, the doll would slowly turn its body to face her. Not just once, every time.
At first, she thought her mind was playing tricks on her. But then she recorded it. And sure enough, in the video, you can clearly see the doll turning its head toward her, as if it’s aware of her presence. It’s the kind of footage that makes your skin crawl. The doll stares her down like something out of Annabelle or The Conjuring.
Pennsylvania Woman Convinced Her Amazon Halloween Decor Is Haunted
In her TikTok updates, the Pennsylvania woman said her husband didn’t believe her at first. That is, until he stepped outside with her and watched the doll turn its head right toward his wife. Suddenly, he wasn’t laughing anymore. Things got even weirder when he started feeling sick shortly after. The couple decided to take the doll down, thinking that would end the nightmare. When they hung it back up (at his insistence, to “prove it was just the wind”), he got sick again.
She even shared more videos showing the doll turning on its own, ignoring the wind and all logic. Eventually, she took it down for good, saying someone from her comments section was coming to take it off her hands. But the story didn’t stop there.
Later, the woman revealed the doll had moved from where she had left it. Her daughter heard two loud bangs that night, and their security system sent an alert about motion on the porch. When she checked the footage, no one was there. That’s when she said she was ready to call a priest or pastor to bless the house.
“Either I am going completely insane or this is really real. Tomorrow, I am seeking a Priest or Pastor to come out to the home. She is now in the trunk of my husband’s car. I am so scared that we may experience more things,” she said in the caption of one of her videos.
She’s Not The Only One With A ‘Haunted’ Doll From Amazon
Even wilder another woman online claims the exact same thing happened with the same doll model. In her own clip, the swing moves back and forth while another identical doll next to it stays perfectly still. Creepy doesn’t even begin to cover it.
“That’s why I stick to a lil pumpkin and some fake spiders,” one person commented. “That wouldn’t happen with Christmas decor,” a second person wrote. “If she doing this in the day time, I’d hate to see what she do at night,” a third person stated. “You officially bought the scariest thing you could possibly buy,” a fourth person chimed in.
With more than 4 million views, the Pennsylvania woman’s story has officially gone viral, and it’s safe to say viewers are completely freaked out. Whether it’s paranormal or just a strange mechanical glitch, one thing’s for sure: this is one Halloween decoration no one in Pennsylvania is eager to hang up again anytime soon.
