Having to sit in a waiting room is typically not a very pleasant experience. Whether that be at the doctor’s office, or in this Ohio man’s case, the dentist. With that being said, this recently posted TikTok shows the man’s odd waiting room encounter as a couple has a small argument right next to him. The clip has around 7K likes and 579.6K views as social media users tell the man recording to mind his own business.
The TikTok starts off with the man already sitting down in the waiting room. However, across the aisle of chairs from him, there is an Ohio couple who is clearly having some sort of disagreement. It would appear as though they are arguing about what they need to purchase for their home, as it sounds like they may have recently moved in together. However, while this is going on, the man recording seemingly can’t get enough of the drama. “I like these types of people. Sitting at the dentist is boring without them,” he commented on his own post. The text on the screen also reads, “People really need to keep their personal life out of the public eye. This was at my dentist’s office today, waiting on an appointment.”

The TikTok comment section was not too happy regarding this man’s behavior, though. Many would flood the video in order to leave behind their own thoughts regarding the man’s actions. “But recording a couple having an argument while in a dentist’s office is also perfectly acceptable and normal, though,” sarcastically pointed out one.
Another wrote, “Just eavesdrop like a normal person. You don’t have to record everything.” Finally, one last comment read, “Why are you putting them on blast? She looks stressed already. Do better!” It would appear as though most social media users are not happy that the man recorded this conversation, and rightfully so.
As the TikTok video continues, the Ohio couple’s argument goes on as they both look very stressed. At the end of the day, there is a time and a place for conversations like these, and a waiting room probably isn’t the best spot. However, this Ohio man should have never recorded this little spat, as it was truly none of his business. Hopefully, the couple got everything figured out in the end. As for the man recording, maybe next time just leave the phone in your pocket.
