The age-old beef between man’s best friend and the mailman is very well documented. Dogs, and even some cats alike, seemingly just can’t stand the United States’ Postal Service, and who really knows why? Nevertheless, this recently posted TikTok video shows a North Carolina woman who is taking her pet’s side in this fight. The clip has around 470K likes and 3.1 million views as this woman shares her dog’s hatred of their local mailman.
The TikTok video starts off with the woman setting up her phone by a window, in order to capture what is about to occur. Her all-white dog with a black nose and grey ears is already sitting by the window, looking on at the incoming threat. The North Carolina woman then tells the dog to look, “It’s that mailman! He’s got a lot of nerve showing face here.” As she says this, the god can be heard barking and growling as he looks out the window. Finally, the dog would jump up and put his paws on the windowsill as he growls some more. One leg can be seen bent up, almost like he was pointing at the mailman.
TikTok Reacts To North Carolina Woman’s Adorable Dog
The TikTok comment section was rolling following this pup’s vendetta against the mailman. Many users would rush to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes regarding the matter. “As a former mailman, I knew it,” joked one. Another said, “Excellent dog mom giving her dog emotional support like this.” A different person also joked, “I’m going for mailman orientation next week. This isn’t helping.“
Somebody else also wrote, “Aw, you’re participating in each other‘s interests.” Another commenter also pointed out, “As a retired mailman, I understand.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “My dog just looked at me and said, ‘You aren’t supportive enough.’” It would seem as though many users find this situation extremely funny, and rightfully so.
Sadly, the TikTok video would come to an end following the North Carolina woman and her dog’s activities. At the end of the day, this was a cute interaction between a woman and her four-legged friend. Pets can truly be a person’s best friend, even if it’s not a dog. However, it is very clear that this woman loves her animals, and that may be the most important part of owning a pet.
